My main focus is providing optimal and compassionate care for my patients. I strive to practice evidence-based medicine by keeping up to date on the latest treatments.
I graduated from The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. I chose the field of Family Medicine as a specialty. I decided to go into Osteopathic Medicine secondary to my strong interest in manipulative therapy. I have an interest in nutrition as well as exercise to optimize your overall state of health. I believe an integrative approach to health is essential; such an approach can not only treat disease but help prevent it. I also practice traditional medicine; I prescribe medications and I have worked in various settings including Family Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Long Term Care, and Emergency/Urgent Care Medicine.
I am trained in both ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as well as ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support); this training has prepared me well to take care of my patients. I hope to further my training in the future with a degree in medical acupuncture as well as additional certifications in prolotherapy.
