Six Tips to Help You Fall Asleep Quickly
Is something keeping you awake at night? We have some tips to help you get a good night’s sleep.
Sleep is something that is often overlooked in busy schedules. It is pushed aside to make room for things that are considered more important issues. But a good, healthy sleep every night is the only way to keep you going strong. Here are six simple tips to help you fall asleep quickly and make the most of the time you have to rest.
1. Create a routine.
Your body thrives on routine. If you do the same things every night before going to sleep, your body will eventually realize that doing these things means it’s time for you to rest, and you will start feeling sleepy as you carry out the routine.
2. Avoid screens before bed.
This is a must for good sleep. The artificial blue light emitted by smart phones, computers, and TVs wakes up your brain like nothing else and disrupts your internal clock. Try turning off your technology at least half an hour before you plan on getting in bed.
3. Make sure you are hydrated.
Most people spend their lives dehydrated without knowing it, but it definitely shows up in their sleep. Make a point to drink water throughout the day, and especially before going to bed.
4. Prepare for the next day.
You will sleep better knowing that you are set to go the next morning. Pull out the things you will need for the next day, or simply write a to-do list. That way, you can get your mind off the extra details and focus on what you need to do.
Your body needs to relax in order for you to get a good night's sleep. Take a few moments to breathe, stretch, and get comfortable.
6. Clear your mind.
You won't be able to sleep if your mind is caught up in worrying thoughts. As you ease yourself into bed, make sure your mind is clear and worry-free. You can use meditation to help achieve this state of mind before sleeping.
Sleep is one of the most important things that we can do to help us feel great and perform well throughout the day, so be sure to follow our tips so that your sleep is the best it can be.

Bentonville, AR - Our associates are working hard to keep stores stocked and sanitized for you. We’re dedicating associates in every store to clean high-traffic, high-touch areas, like checkouts and shopping carts, every day. We’re also installing sneeze guards in our pharmacy and register lanes, and floor decals at both the entrances and checkouts, to help you maintain proper social distancing. Additionally, we’re using a single, clearly designated entrance and another clearly designated exit at each store to help maintain social distancing and lessen the instances of people closely passing each other. We’re also limiting the number of people in a store at once to allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a store’s capacity.Read More
